# Any other email tool

> The URL pattern and the one rule that makes it work anywhere: the file name is your merge token.

Section: Put it in your email · HTML: https://app.multiplied.studio/docs/email/any-esp · Index: https://app.multiplied.studio/llms.txt

## The pattern

```text
https://img.multiplied.media/<design>/<merge token>.gif
```

`<design>` is fixed per email. `<merge token>` is whatever your tool substitutes per recipient. The substituted value must equal the identifier you chose when uploading (lower-cased if you ticked lowercase; spaces and punctuation are normalised the same way on both sides).

## Steps

1. In Multiplied, copy the dynamic URL with the **Generic** dialect: the token is written as `{{identifier}}`.
2. Replace `{{identifier}}` with your tool's syntax for that field.
3. Put the URL in an image block or an `<img src>`; test-send to a real recipient record.

## Tools we already write the token for

Braze · Klaviyo · HubSpot · Iterable · Mailchimp · Salesforce Marketing Cloud · Postmark. Choose the tool in the copy menu and skip step 2.
