# Generate & get your URL

> What happens while a batch renders, the completion email, and when the URL is safe to paste.

## While it renders

Rows render on our fleet. The progress bar shows done / total; you can leave and watch from Campaigns instead. You get an email when the batch completes.

## The URL

One URL per email, with your email tool's merge token in the file name:

```

Choose the tool in the copy menu and the token is written in that tool's syntax. Rows that have not rendered yet, and recipients who are not in your data, resolve to the design's fallback image.

## When is it safe to send?

When the batch is complete. Copying the URL earlier is allowed but you will see a warning: not every recipient will have their GIF yet. See [Batch lifecycle](/docs/campaigns/batch-lifecycle).
