Buying credits from the quote, and why API keys cannot do it.
From the app
The credits pill in the top bar and the render button both open checkout when you are short. Pay, return to the tab, the draft is still there — submit.
From an agent or the API
Deliberately not possible. Keys can quote and submit; the top-up needs a signed-in person. The refusal tells the agent exactly what to ask you for.
